Jack Gourlay is a gold and platinum record certified songwriter, producer and mixing engineer.

As an artist he has been signed to Warner Music & Sony/ATV Publishing and has written with artists such as James Arthur, Jess Glynne, Jack Garratt & Tom Odell. Jack's most recent release was with Sony artist Rhodes and was featured on 14 New Music Friday playlists and streamed 200,000 times on Spotify in its first week of release.

In 2016 Jack co-founded Ferocious Production with Kwame Kwaten. Ferocious Production offers independent artists a fair and reliable route to achieving release ready recordings. Ferocious Production artists maintain 100% ownership of their master rights, are active in the entire creative process and pay on a track-by-track basis for studio time. Ferocious Production releases have been featured in countless blogs, played on BBC Radio 1 and been instrumental in assisting many new artists progression through the industry.

In 2020 Jack signed to and became the UK A&R for Sheffield Publishing, the publishing arm of Hamburg-based dance label, Kontor Records. Jack is responsible for scouting and signing new songwriting talent and organising co-write, sync and vocal feature opportunities. 2021 is already set to be a busy year with Jack's co-writes confirmed for release with Universal and Sony Music.

Jack is a regular guest lecturer at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London.
